Motorola Milestone XT720 set to land

Hello Moto: Brings 8MP HD-video to Android

Motorola Milestone XT720 Android 2.1 incoming...

The bigger brother to the Moto Milestone, the Motorola Milestone XT720 is set to go on sale next week priced from £359.89.

Retailer said that pre-orders for the handset have been stronger than expected, and that SIM free, unlocked units will be “shipping from the 15th/16th”.

The slimline (10.9mm) smartie fronts up an impressive 8 MP Camera (Xenon flash) and HD video capabilities (with an HDMI port, praise be) and a 3.7 inch screen.

The new look phone also ditches the original Milestone’s somewhat awkward QWERTY slide out pad, going it alone with a capacitive touchscreen. Under the hood you’ll find Android 2.1, without the MotoBLUR skin which graces the likes of the DEXT.
