US launch, but phone could make it to these shores.

Motorola has just gone official with the Droid Pro, a spanking new Android phone replete with a full touchscreen and a portrait QWERTY for BlackBerry-style messaging.

In fact, Moto reckons this is the first business-minded Android phone out there. As well as rocking that natty keyboard, there’s a 1GHz processor, Android 2.2, a 3.1-inch panel and 5 megapixel camera round the back.

There’s also a dual CDMA/GSM chip, which means the Droid Pro will work around the globe and not just on launch network Verizon. That also suggests that this neat new number could well be making its way to Blighty. Here’s hoping, because it looks stunning.
