Motorola Droid 3: more new pics emerge

New QWERTY slider poses for spy shot

Five-line QWERTY keyboard coming to next-gen Android effort.

The Motorola Droid 3 has already been the subject of one spy shot this week. And now the forthcoming Android blower has been snapped again, this time with its QWERTY slider out for all to see.

While that might not get the juices flowing immediately, this keyboard is a five line version, with hard number keys across the top. This is a big departure from earlier Droid models, not to mention other QWERTY Android rivals. Numeric keys are usually secondary on such devices.

There’s still no more word on what else the Droid 3 will come packing, or when it’s due out. But the Droid 2 was the subject of months of leaks before it finally got official last summer. Expect to see its successor in plenty more detail over the coming weeks and months.
