Moleskine notepad app available for iPhone
It's not just our favourite tech, gadgets, movies, sub-par sportsmen and music that have cult followings, good old fashioned notepads do to, so it's with great pleasure that we report news of Moleskine's official app for iOS devices.
Yes, the "legendary notebooks" used by the likes of Ernest Hemmingway, Pablo Picasso and that hipster wannabe poet from your local Starbucks have transcended paper and made their way onto the App Store
The free download, which allows you to pick your favourite notebook style - ruled, plain or squared - apparently "allows you to express your creativity through text, images and sketches."
The idea is to harness the power of creative thought wherever it may strike, and use the app to make notes, or draw on the screen. You can then save and geo-tag the note on your device or share it via for favourite means of networking socially.
The Moleskine app is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch now. We can see sketching using your fingertips being a bit haphazard though. Artists might want to stick to the old notebook for that, but this is a great alternative to Apple's native Notes app.
