Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 developer Activision is facing legal proceedings from NovaLogic the developer behind the Delta Force series. NovaLogic is seeking an injunction and damages alledging that without permission Activision used a Delta Force logo in CoD: MW3.

According to the complaint, lodged in a Californian court, NovaLogic is claiming that Activision repeatedly ignored warnings from the company despite the fact that NovaLogic owns the copyright to the Delta Force name.

It's not just the name NovaLogic has issue with implying that the logo used in the game also bears a very striking resemblance to the logo used in the Delta Force series.
