While there are two Microsoft Surface tablets it is the RT version which has caught the eye thanks to its slimmer profile and more tablet-friendly OS

Microsoft could be setting the official Microsoft Surface RT price as under £200, or at least that's according to an anonymous source who has been given full launch details surrounding the iPad rival.
Talking to Engadget the source was apparently able to attend an inside briefing at the recent Tech15 conference where Microsoft disclosed the full launch details for its Surface RT and Surface Pro tablets.
This pricing must be taken with a pinch of salt however after Microsoft itself was quoted as having placed the RT's pricing as being competitive with rival products with all eyes then turning to the iPad.
It would also make for a huge price difference between the RT and the Surface Pro which, again according to Microsoft, will be priced along the lines of a high-end Ultrabook pushing its price tag into the £1,000+ arena.
Microsoft Surface tablet specs:
The RT is the ARM-based tablet which is able to run a slimmed down version of Windows 8 enabling it to be slimmer lighter and more viable as a competitor to the likes of the iPad.
That doesn't mean it skimps on features however with the RT boasting a high-resolution screen, super-thin body and the ability to run Windows Office.
