Microsoft Surface Pro out February 9th

The higher spec version of Microsoft’s tablet – the Surface Pro – will land in the United States and Canada on February 9th.
The device runs on full-fat Windows 8, and the more powerful Intel Core i5 processor.
Prices are $899 for the 64GB model, which includes a Surface pen. A further $119 will get you the keyboard case, and the specialised Wedge Touch mouse is $69.95.
A large part of the proposition is the laptop/tablet hybrid aspect, however together with the keyboard attachment the price jumps over $1000, which is a fair bit over the top of most tablets.
The original Surface RT is also now available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Portugal.

Micriosoft is also rumoured to be working on a Surface Smartphone, though there has been no official word on this as yet.
