Microsoft reveals Bing Events feature
Microsoft’s search engine adds new Events tab to its UK offering. But will it be enough to tempt you to ditch Google in favour of the Big M?
Microsoft has just pulled the wrappers off of Bing Events, a new search service that allows you to easily get details of gigs, shows and matches in one place. It covers a whacking 90,000 events in more than 10,000 venues.
Using it is breezy. Just head to Bing, search for the band, play or match that you’re looking for, add events to the end and hit enter. Then tap the events tab, where you can search by date and category.
You don’t just get ticket info either. There are parking details, maps and directions, making a night out a doddle to plan.
Given Bing Events a go yet? Is it enough to convince you the time has come to dump Google in favour of Microsoft’s search engine? Let us know in the comments section now.
