Existing subscribers will get double XP on several games, including Halo 4
Microsoft has announced a free Xbox Live Gold weekend, with double XP for existing subscribers starting tomorrow.
The free Xbox Live Gold weekend starts tomorrow and runs through to Sunday.
Microsoft will be running a series of tournaments, including a FIFA Ultimate Team Spring Classic Tournament.
For none subscribers, it will also be extending its Xbox Video Movie Weekends to them. Streets of Blood, which stars Val Kilmer, Sharon Stone, and 50 Cent is set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Non-Gold subscribers that trial Lovefilm over the weekend will also get 1600 free Microsoft points if they continue it.
Gold subscribers aren't being left out though.
From tomorrow through to May 12, they will be able to watch TV episodes on Xbox Video. Among the shows on the service are Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, and Persons of Interest.
It will also be rewarding Gold subscribers that recommend a friend over the weekend with 100 free Microsoft Points.
Microsoft has also said that any existing Gold subscribers that renew during May will get a bonus of 400 Microsoft Points.
