Meridian + Ferrari = racy audio + DVD

New home entertainment system speeds into view.

It's inherited a top-dollar engine from Ferrari and great specs from Meridian. We're talking about the sexy new F80.

Looking more like a tabletop radio than a complete audio and DVD home entertainment system, the F80's rotund bod' has been hand-built in, er,- Huntingdon, and builds in a DAB/FM/AM tuner, CD player and DVD player.

Pop the hood and you'll find three power amps, delivering over 80 watts to the two front speakers and rear subwoofer. It also employs nifty tech called Advanced Digital Signal Processing which allows you to fine-tune the output of the F80 depending on where it is positioned in the room. -

The F80 is out now in five official Ferrari colours - yellow, silver, red, white and black - while limited edition luxury finishes will be unveiled later this year. Snag one for £1,500.-
