Meizu's iPhone-alike
Chinese firm set to launch Apple-baiting all-in-one device
Rumours abound that Chinese manufacturer Meizu has given its forthcoming M8 Miniplayer a bit of a revamp. A revamp that ends up with the product looking curiously similar to the iPhone, if this picture is anything to go by.
If true, this wouldn't be the first instance of a Meizu product being heavily "inspired" by Apple. The first MiniPlayer we saw was very iPod-esque in terms of style, while incorporating the likes of a radio tuner and voice recorder.
The M8 is a personal media player/phone that will reportedly run on Windows CE. Features include a 3.3-inch screen, GSM and 3G, Bluetooth and a 3-megapixel camera capable of capturing video at a 720 x 480 resolution and 30 frames per second. The M8 seems set for a launch in Asia next year, but we'll let you know if a European date comes up.
