Max Payne 3 UK gameplay trailer lands

Max Payne 3 is on its way with Rockstar Games confirming the latest instalment to the gaming franchise will now land in the UK on May 18th

A brand-new official gameplay video of the upcoming Max Payne 3 game has been released, showcasing some of the groundbreaking animations and features that Rockstar are hoping will make the game a hit.

Featuring some reather nifty camerawork and some stunning character animations the game is shaping up to be one of the big hits of Q1 2012 thanks to it's gritty and ultra-realistic gameplay style.

This has come just days after Rockstar officially confirmed that eagerly awaited Max Payne 3 release date had been pushed back with the third person shooter now set to land on a selection of consoles this May.

Renowned for its gritty narratives and fluid gameplay the Max Payne franchise was set to be revived in March with a new cinematic tale following the former New York detective onto the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil with online multiplayer features to be brought to the series for the first time. The release will now ship two months later than planned heading to stores in May.

"We do not take changes to our release schedule lightly, and this short delay will ensure that Max Payne 3 delivers the highest quality, groundbreaking entertainment experience that is expected from our Company," said Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two.

“Max Payne 3 brings powerful storytelling back to the action-shooter genre,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “Rockstar Studios are delivering a game that’s both incredibly cinematic and very, very intense to play.

“Max Payne 3 features a wide range of new and traditional multiplayer modes that play on the themes of paranoia, betrayal and heroism, all delivered with the same epic visual style of the single-player game."

Max Payne 3 Release Date

Hitting the US three days prior to UK launch a Max Payne 3 UK release date has been set for May 18th for Xbox 360 and PC gamers. The epic title will launch on PC a couple of weeks later on June 1st once again after a short period of exclusivity in the US.
