Luxury lightbox

The DreamBee full Hi-Def projector buzzes lazily into view.

If you want the biggest and best home cinema picture possible then you should really be thinking about getting a full HD projector - and that's just what Parisian company DreamVision is offering with its DreamBee.

Toting the same sort of D-ILA light-chucking technology that made JVC's recent DLA-HD1 such a star, the DreamBee can display a full 1080p Hi-Def image from a Blu-ray or HD DVD player or a next-gen console like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. It packs in a shedload of video technologies to tweak the image quality too.

It's a gorgeously stylish thing too, with a curve-tastic case plucked from the drawing board of famed Gallic designer Pinault Le Porcher and a range of glossy colour options on offer.

Two versions are available: the DreamBee and DreamBee Pro, the latter of which comes with an additional processor box and more video connections (four HDMIs instead of two, for example). Both are available now, with the basic version costing £6,999 and the Pro edition £9,500.
