Letting you get further into the Olympic spirit, Samsung has officially launched the limited edition London 2012 Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung has announced the launch of the London 2012 Samsung Galaxy S3, a limited edition rendition of the market leading handset in support of Team GB during the Olympic Games.

A Worldwide Olympic Partner, Samsung has revealed it hopes that this exclusive version of its recently-released Android smartphone will allow consumers to commemorate the Games returning to Britain for a historic third time.

London 2012 Samsung Galaxy S3 Specs

The official phone of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Olympic themed Samsung Galaxy S3 plays host to the same collection of high-end innards as its standard-backed sibling with the only differences coming in the handset’s two newly available interchangeable back panels.

Both incorporating the famous Olympic rings, the Team GB logo panel for the white Samsung Galaxy S3 and the blue handset bound Union Jack cover will transform the standard S3 into a piece of patriotic gadget loveliness..

Running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the London 2012 Samsung Galaxy S3 features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core processor and an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities.

London 2012 Samsung Galaxy S3 Pricing and Release Date

The Olympic-themed version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be sold at Carphone Warehouse stores and online from August 1st. Available free from £28 per month, tariffs are available on Vodafone, Orange, O2, T-Mobile, Talk Mobile and Three.
