Web-based TV on your living room set through Logitech set top box
Logitech unveil Google TV set top box
Masters of the peripheral tech device, Logitech is to launch a set top box to bring Google TV content direct to your current HDTV.
Removing the need to splash-the-cash on a new Google TV-branded HD telly, the Logitech box will also host Harmon Link technology to allow for centralised management of all infrared controlled devices.

Unveiled last month, Google TV will allow users to browse the web for IPTV content (Internet Protocol television) and watch at will from their home entertainment setup.
Through the inbuilt Harmon Link system, Logitech’s Google TV box will also scrap the need for multiple remote controls as any device with an IR remote will be able to be controlled centrally.
A full QWERTY keyboard will accompany the set top box allowing users to quickly and conveniently search for IPTV content. Alternatively, users who also own an Android powered smartphone will be able to download an app that will transform their Google blower into a Harmon Link universal remote.
The Logitech set top box will be available to buy from autumn this year in time for the launch of Google TV. The price of the setup has yet to be released
