Logitech takes to the air
New MX Air Mouse ends the days of lugging yourself off the sofa to change songs on your PC.
Shovelling thousands of tunes and flicks onto your PC is all well and good. Having to use a dirt cheap remote, or even worse actually move, to sort the volume or skip a track is not.
Step forward then Logitech's 'surface to air' mouse, the all new MX Air. While that might suggest it'll destroy your computer if you dare to touch, it'll actually make everything play nice.
It packs in wireless, 'Freespace' motion control and gestures. This means you can click through files as normal, lift it off and the desk and go remote style.
There's a touch sensitive panel to flick your finger over. The faster you go, the quicker you'll work through folders. You can also use it to play, pause and select songs too.
Gesture across the top and you can change the volume, courtesy of the sensors buried inside. It's all yours for a penny shy of £100 from August.
