LittleBigPlanet 2 dated

Sequel slapped with late 2010 release date

US punters get official date direct from Sony, but us Brits are being kept in the dark.

LittleBigPlanet 2 has been handed an official release date by Sony. In a post on the official PlayStation blog, the gaming giant said the sequel will be hitting shelves on 16 November.

While that’s bound to reawaken your inner love for Sackboy, the disappointing news is that this is a US-only release date, with not a sniff about when LittleBigPlanet 2 will be showing up on these shores. Rest assured it’s likely to be before the Christmas rush.

On top of the release date, Sony has also confirmed plans for some special pre-order goodies too, including Toy Story-themed costumes. Just make sure you slap down your cash as soon as possible to get involved.
