LG has expanded its 3D offerings at CES 2012 with four new home theatre systems making the grade and landing at the Las Vegas based tech show
LG Electronics has introduced four new 3D home entertainment systems at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas all of which will come packaged with added 3D sound technology.
The new systems, which will launch during the first half of 2012, offer an impressive synergy between Smart TV Technologies and 3D Sound.
The first model to be unveiled, the BH9420TW, will launch in stores March 2012, and uses LG’s 3D Sound Zooming technology to synchronise noise levels with the location of on-screen 3D images.
Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Home Entertainment Company, said LG would offer the “most immersive” 3D home entertainment experience.
“Our Cinema 3D Smart TVs will now be accompanied by a wider variety of Cinema 3D Sound home theatre products that offer consumers a complete 3D experience and further strengthen LG’s leadership in 3D”
LG’s 3D Sound Zooming will get an added boost by the BH9420TW’s 9.1 speaker system, which offers a richer sound experience with its four upward-facing 3D speakers.
As if that was not enough, an additional 360-degree reflector inside each speaker will give the acoustics an even bigger kick by firing sound out in every possible direction.
Added flexibility also means that existing 3D TV owners will also be able to hook up their sets to the LG Smart TV ecosystem, allowing them to enjoy the benefits of various premium LG services.
