A smartphone star in the making?

Video footage of the LG Star, the Korean manufacturer's rumoured high end smartphone has been captured revealing many of its key features.

The 4-inch screen handset which looks set to run on Android 2.2, also appears to sport a HDMI port and a 8-megapixel camera. Previous speculation suggests it will also be powered by a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.

New LG Star pictures were snapped of the smartphone yesterday, and now the guys at GSM Israel have a 7-minute video showing what we can expect when it finally arrives.

Unfortunately, the video is not in English, but for those who have taken an instant liking to the Android smartphone, you can still get a good feel for what the handset is capable of.
