The company’s last tablet – the Optimus Pad – was launched back in summer 2011. Since then, the company has focused almost exclusively on its smartphone range.
According to Greek site Techblog, the company is planning to launch a new 8.3 inch tablet with a 1920x1080 full HD display called the G Pad. It also claims the tablet will come with a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

The G Pad will feature an ultra-thin bezel, similar to the recently announced LG G2 smartphone, according to the site. It also claims that despite the size of the screen, the small bezel will mean the G Pad will fit comfortably in a back pocket.
According to the site, the tablet will also come with an aluminium shell, suggesting – along with the specs – the G Pad will be aimed at the top end of the market.
No other details were given about the rumoured tablet from LG.
