Android powered 3D smartphone to hit UK on July 11th
The LG Optimus 3D will hit the UK on July 11th as online retailers make the 3D capable smartphone available for pre-order.
Landing on a number of online stores, LG’s first 3D capable smartphone is expected to land in a little under one month’s time with retailer Clove declaring the handset will be available to buy on July 11th with a £454.80 price tag.
Offing release dates and pricing in the same ballpark as Clove, Play.com and Amazon have revealed they will offer the LG Optimus 3D on July 12th and 13th respectively with £469 and £499 price tags. Although LG has yet to formerly confirm the UK release details for the LG Optimus 3D, network providers Orange and Three have both confirmed they will host the device.
Formerly unveiled at Mobile World Congress back in February the LG Optimus 3D is the first phone to tout a glasses-free 4.3-inch touchscreen 3D display with 5-megapixel dual rear-mounted cameras allowing for 3D video footage to be shot in HD 720p.
