LG Optimus 3D lands on Three
LG's flagship handset, the LG Optimus 3D, has officially touched down on Three. After going on sale at the Carphone Warehouse at the beginning of July, that makes Three the first official carrier of the 3D-rocking smartphone.
The Optimus 3D, which we first caught wind of at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, packs not only a 3D, glasses-free display similar to the one found on the Nintendo 3DS, but also dual 5MP cameras on the back for shooting 3D video and snapping 3D stills.
Also under the hood is a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and the now somewhat dated Android 2.2 FroYo.
Three are offering the handset on a 24 month contract from £35 per month, which includes a gratis Optimus 3D, 500 minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB of data.
