LG KC780 camera-phone gets official launch

Smile, it's another LG camera-phone

Having first broke the news of another LG 8-megapixel camera-phone on its way, our inclinations it seems were right as the phone stylists confirm they will launch the LG-KC780 at the end of October 2008.

Far from suffering from a functioning complex this is more camera than phone judging by the features it comes laden with.

Following hot on the heels of the LG Renoir, the slim handset also boasts 8-megapixel superiority, and a sizeable 2.4 inch LCD display screen to enjoy your pictures in all their glorious splendour.

A Schneide-Kreznach certified lens is photography terminology we think for, 'a serious piece of camera hardware'. Bundled with face detection, smile detection, and Beauty mode, the snap-happy amongst you are well catered for.

The KC780 ingeniously doubles up as a webcam through Smart Bluetooth so you can wander off slightly, still within Bluetooth range, of course.

Oh, yes, it is a phone as well, although you wouldn't have thought it judging by its camera dominated features, and the considerable lack of information on any of the phone specs.

LG have yet to confirm a price but have assured us to expect a high end feature phone at mid range price.
