LG C300 'Town' QWERTY Phone lands

Curve-esque keyboard smartie for the budget-constrained

LG C300 Town QWERTY sets sighs on social media domination

LG has launched a BlackBerry-esque QWERTY handset, the LG C300 ‘Town’.

With more than a passing resemblance to a BlackBerry Curve, the C300 Town fronts a 2.4-inch screen (320x240 pixels) and has dedicated Twitter, Facebook and MSN clients.

Other positives include 2-megapixel camera, push email, FM radio and an MP3 player. One the downside, there’s no Wi-Fi or 3G, so thin-pipe data only.

The price is the key factor here – at £80 (including a £10 top up), will this price point convince you away from similar Android and BlackBerry efforts?
