When Leica decide they're going to release a new product, it's very rare that the tech-world doesn't instantly gather round to see it, and with the D-Lux 5 Titanium Leica is continuing the trend
Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium unveiled
Leica has unveiled its latest addition to the D-Lux 5 range, the D-Lux 5 Titanium. Adorned in a titanium-styled hue, the camera is a limited edition model that will be brought out just for the festive season and will only be available in a limited number.
Taking style cues from their other titanium models the D-Lux 5 keeps all the minimalistic design characteristics commonly found with Leica's products but adds a certain glamour to the proceedings in the form of the titanium hue and exclusive leather case and shoulder strap that come with the camera.
Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium Specs:
The D-Lux 5 Titanium has exactly the same technical specifications as its counterpart, so that means you'll get a premium CCD image sensor with a resolution of 10.1 Megapixels. There's also a super-fast wide-angle lens which offers a focal length of 24mm-90mm (35mm equivalent).
With the high-resolution 3-inch screen you'll be able to review your images which can be taken in all the formats (4:3, 3:2, 16:9) and interestingly 1:1. Video-recording is possible up to 720p with both the zoom function and the auto focus both available during recording.
The Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium will be available from the end of October at the SRP of £855 and comes complete with the case, shoulder strap and a full version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.
