Warner Bros. has secured UK All Format Gaming Chart success with the newly launched LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heros taking top honours in its debut week on sale.
Taking the UK’s gaming chart crown for the week ending June 23rd, the latest LEGO Batman offering dethroned the resurgent FIFA 12 with EA’s near year old football sim dropping to second in the league table ahead of fellow former chart topper, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Continuing the run of former title holding releases, Max Payne 3 and Battlefield 3 end the week in fourth and fifth spots respectively whilst publisher Warner Bros. makes its second top ten appearance of the past seven days with the sixth position holding Lollipop Chainsaw.
As the London 2012 Olympic Games creep ever nearer on the horizon, SEGA’s Mario and Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games has risen two places to seventh in the charts ahead of Skyrim and Sniper Elite V2 in spots eight and nine respectively.
Riding on the wave of Euro 2012 excitement, EA Sports’ latest FIFA Street offering has risen three spots to round out the week’s top ten.
