Scoring a hat trick, Warner Bros’ LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heros has retained its title as the UK’s highest selling game, topping the UK All Format Gaming Chart for a third consecutive week.
Behind the continued LEGO Batman success, Sega’s Olympics tie-in London 2012: The Official Video Game has risen to second in the UK charts as the long awaited sporting showpiece edges nearer to reality. Rounding out the top three for the week ending July 7th is The Amazing Spiderman, down one place on last week.
Also falling one spot in July’s first chart, Spec Ops: The Line has slumped to fourth, lining up ahead of Koch Media’s Dead Island Game of the Year Edition, the week’s highest new entry in fifth.
Behind the Dead Island re-release, the week’s UK All Format Gaming Chart top 10 is made up of former chart leaders with Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim lining up in sixth ahead of FIFA 12 in seventh. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 rounds out the week in eight whilst Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and FIFA Street prop up the chart in ninth and tenth spots respectively.
