Retaining its gaming chart crown, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heros has topped the UK All Format Gaming Chart for a second consecutive week, edging out stiff competition from fellow superhero Spiderman.
Lining up in the lead position for the week ending June 30th, Warner Bros. LEGO Batman 2 has secured a second week as the UK’s highest selling game with Activision’s movie tie-in The Amazing Spiderman debuting in second position. Take Two’s Spec Ops: The Line rounded out the week in third.
Missing out on those all important podium positions SEGA’s Olympic Games tie-in London 2012: The Official Video Game entered the chart in fourth position following its Friday release, landing ahead of former chart toppers FIFA 12 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier which complete the week in fifth and sixth spots respectively.
Continuing the run of former title taking games, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Max Payne 3 and Battlefield 3 line up in positions seven through to nine respectively. Konami’s Metal Gear Solid HD Collection rounds out the week’s top ten.
