Leaked pictures of Facebook app on Android
Google and Facebook kiss and make app
Having got over their initial feuding over a series of long-running issues, Facebook (perhaps in view of the growing army of Android phones) has made up with Google to bring an official Facebook app to Android handsets.
Since Google’s Android OS first landed on mobile phones back in October 2008, social networking app fBook has been just one of a host of apps that has been moonlighting as a mobile version of the iconic social networking site, but these leaked pictures suggest the real thing is not too far away from launch.

With familiar features intact, the Android version will add a few extras that are currently unavailable on the iPhone version, which include a widget allowing you to update your status from your homescreen without searching through your phone to open the application.
Unlike the iPhone version however, the Android app will have no static tabs along the bottom to jump between different Facebook sections. But there is enough to suggest from these revealing pics that Android users can look forward to a little more than a mass pokefest on the drunken night bus ride home.
