Alienware beams down some new gaming laptops
Heading off to a LAN party to mix with other guys who have yet to find a girlfriend or a use for deodorant? No need to dismantle your gaming rig, instead just throw one of Alienware's two latest gaming laptops into your bag.
The daddy of the duo is the Area-51 m5550. It powered by an Intel 2.16GHz dual core processor and pushes out some mean graphics thanks to the 256MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 chip. The 15inch screen has an impressive resolution of 1920 x 1200 and there's plenty of space to load up your favourite first person shooters on the 100GB hard drive.
The smaller Sentia m3450 is a little less muscular. It still has a powerful Intel 2.16GHz dual core processor, but its graphics aren't as strong as they're taken care of by the integrated Intel Media Accelerator 950 Graphics.
Prices start at £900 for the Area-51 m5550 and £750 for the Sentia m3450.
