Amazon's free Kindle app finally enters the Android zone.

The Android-dedicated Kindle app was announced a while ago, and it's finally available. Users whose phones run on Android 1.6 'Donut' or upwards can go to the web site and download the Kindle app.
Amazon already has a Kindle app for Blackberry and only yesterday announced audio and video features for iOS devices.

The Kindle app for Androids allows users to access Kindle books, buy them in the Kindle store, use Whispersync to synchronize the last page read and annonations between devices along with adjusting text size and adding bookmarks.
