Jura Ena slimmest coffee maker on earth
Jura just shrank the coffee machine - skinny latte anyone?
When the Swiss aren't making precision timepieces, they're refining their coffee machines with similar accuracy. The engineers at Jura have managed to shrink their latest lean bean machine to a mere 23.8cm slither to make the Ena the narrowest bean-to-cup espresso maker on the market. It should slot into even the most spatially challenged London apartment and to make sure it fits design-wise too, it comes in a rainbow of seven different finishes.
Just launched at its flagship concession in Harrods, the seven sleek coffee machines, including the festive cherry red number, are available for £595 in any finish. It might be slim, but you're still getting a fully automatic machine that'll first burr grind your beans and then squeeze out the precious coffee juice through its height adjustable spout.
There are in fact two slightly different machines, the Ena 3 is only available in black or white and has a moveable spout, while Ena 5 comes in a range of colours and has two spouts. Both have simple one-touch controls and a selection of coffee types in their repertoire. Best of all, is the digital display that changes colour when your coffee is ready. Genius!
