iRiver takes aim at the iPod with the E50
iRiver is back in black brushed metal
iRiver is once again tempting us with something more stylish and versatile than the iPod, this time the E50.
And style is certainly the big selling point, a slimline, brushed aluminium case you'll be more than keen to flash on the bus and train. Not a bad little player either, offering up playback of MP3, OGG, FLAC, WMA, WAV and SMV files, along with an FM radio, built-in mic, 10-band equaliser, 1.8-inch LCD screen and storage ranging from 2GB to 8GB. Ok, the storage isn't great, but we're more than happy with the rest.
Decent price too, expect it in a store near you from January, with a price tag of around £60 for the 4GB model.
