iPod Tunestir FM radio
Finally, an on-the-go FM radio accessory for iPod and iPod mini! And as well as receiving radio, it broadcasts too...
Agreed, it's a frickin' crime that arguably the world's finest MP3 player doesn't feature a bog-standard FM radio. But thanks to the astronomically huge bolt-on biz for iPod, an accessory to enable you to listen to FM radio via Apple's icy music maestro is finally about to hit shelves.
Battery Technology, Inc. (BTI) has officially announced the Tunestir (pictured), a dinky device featuring a remote control that both receives and beams out radio signals. The Tunestir is the first iPod accessory to equip iPod with FM radio, and features five programmable slots for your top stations. Plus, like iTrip it enables you to transmit and play songs stored on iPod via a radio. The Tunestir is slated to hit shops towards the tail-end of this month at $70 (£37).
