iPhone to miniaturise in the new year?

We love a good rumour here - and when that rumour involves an all-new iPhone, we're all over it.

Sadly, the rumoured 'iPhone Nano' might be just that, but we can dream. The image here was sent to the Mac Rumors site and is claimed to be a new small-form iPhone, packing much of the same functionality, only in a smaller package. Indeed, just to add to the whispers, a third-party retailer has added an iPhone Nano category its product pages. That could be a human error - or they might just know something we don't.

In truth, there doesn't seem to be any desire for a shrunk-down iPhone (with smaller screen) right now, but at the same time, we really wouldn't be surprised if Apple did pull one out of the bag at MacWorld. We'll be there in numbers, so you'll be the first to know if this is reality or just more PhotoShop shenanigans.
