iPhone artist Gary Go pens a Twitter track
Mum, can I call you back? I'm in the middle of something...
Leaving no tech stone unturned, muscian Gary Go has now sought inspiration from micro blogging site Twitter for help in writing his latest track.
The song entitled 'Heart Balloon' was created using lyrical suggestions from his Twitter followers for the track inspired by a photo he uploaded to the site of a heart shaped balloon caught in trees outside his house.
Twitterer AmyLizOne sent, "I’m caught on the wind and I’ve lost all control, you caught my heart and now you’ve let it go."
The tech embracing artist is already set to play Wembley Stadium supporting Take That with his unique sound created solely by using his iPhone and software downloaded from the iTunes store.
Go actually used his smartphone to record demos for his album. “At this point it's quite hard to think of something I don't use the phone for," he said. "For songwriters it's an amazing tool as I always have it with me. I used to phone myself and leave messages to remember ideas. Now I can record real tracks in the park - it's great."
This won’t actually be the first performance of its kind; London band The Mentalists recently performed a live cover of MGMT’s Kids using a selection of iPhones. However, Gary Go’s performance is going to be on a considerably larger scale.
Gary Go will be playing Wembley Stadium supporting Take That on the 1st, 4th and 5th of July.
