Entertainment buffs looking to enjoy television on their iPads have just had their lives made easier with portable TV specialist tizi releasing the tizi Remote app allowing user’s iPhones to become a remote control for their iPad TV viewing habits.

Pairing with iPad’s sporting an external tizi or tizi Go TV receiver the new tizi Remote app enables users to change channels on their tablet locked broadcasts whilst at a comfortable viewing distance with a bevy of further new functionality coming to the on-the-move television.

Available from the Apple iTunes App Store now, the tizi Remote app, which is free to download, adds a host of new features including the ability to switch between channels remotely, pause live TV and record desired shows. The app connects to tizi devices via the same wireless network used to access the television content.

As an added party piece the tizi Remote application enables users who sport the recently released Apple iPhone 4S handset to change channels using the new and exclusive voice activated personal assistant, Siri.
