The Apple iPhone 5 release date has been teased again as production of the iOS 5 powered device reportedly begins
With a host of new gadgets landing at IFA 2011 last week Apple’s usual barrage of iPhone 5 rumours has been somewhat overshadowed with latest reports that the handset has entered production once again kicking the rumour mill into action.
According to sources of Japanese tech site Macotakara Apple’s iPhone manufacturers Foxconn and Pegatron have started assembling the next-generation Apple handset but are currently not packing the devices as they are still to be loaded with the upcoming iOS 5 operating system.
Stating that the upcoming OS “isn’t ready” yet Macotakara’s latest reports follow claims an iPhone 5 prototype had been lost in a bar and hint at a possible October arrival.
Whilst confirmed specs for the device are currently unknown it is expected the handset will boast a dual-core processor and 8-megapixel camera from launch.
