iPhone niggles crushed

1.1.3 set to bring multiple texts and cut and paste to the Jesus phone.

It looks as if iPhone owners' prayers are about to be answered, with the super cell's major niggles being dealt with in a flash thanks to new firmware.

According to rumour mongers MacScoop, firmware 1.1.3 will drop during Macworld. The new software will finally allow punters to cut and paste texts and actually send more than one message.

This basic functionality has been missing since the phone first reared its head back in the States back in June last year. It looks as if Apple has finally listened to the growing chorus of noise and agreed to the changes.

The update is also said to include beefed up Google Maps and changes to the home screen.

We'll be in the front row at Steve Jobs' keynote at Macworld, so be sure to check in on 14 January for Apple news as it happens.
