iPad 2 UK launch sparks new era in Team Apple campaign
iPad 2 event takes Team Apple to new heights
T3’s campaign to find a consumer favourite between Apple and Android systems and devices has taken a well publicised turn as Team Apple came out in force for the official UK launch of the iPad 2.
Having queued outside Apple’s flagship London Regent Street store for more than 33 hours in order to be first in line to pick up the revamped second-generation iPad with its dual-cameras, dual-core processor and slimmer form factor, 32 year old Jewels Lewis adorned his T3 Team Apple t-shirt when finally getting his hands on the new tablet.
With the world’s media pointing in his direction as he shadow boxed, jigged and strutted his way in to the store and to the stocks of iPad 2 devices, Jewels threw the gauntlet to the Android Army by taking Team Apple, through his t-shirt, to the likes of The Sun, The Daily Mail and a host of televised news broadcasters.
Following Jewels into Apple’s Regent Street store, the next 11 members of the iPad 2 queue rocked their T3 Team Apple t-shirts to the fleet of photographers, TV crews and reporters.
With Team Apple now taking the campaign to an international audience and advancing the exposure of their side’s cause we a calling out all wannabe Android Army recruits to top the Team Apple efforts and get your team’s colours and logo out to an even larger audience. As always, the best efforts will be rewarded.
