Four new pictures of what could be the iPad 2 have emerged on the day that the follow up to the first Apple tablet is expected to be officially announced.

The snaps which have come from China appear to show off many of the features tipped for the iPad 2, including a slimmer form factor, a bigger speaker and of course, front and rear-facing cameras.

At much closer quarters details such as the model number appear to be taken from the original Apple TV which could be the biggest indication as to  whether what we have here is the real deal.
