The dual-cameras expected to adorn the upcoming Apple iPad 2 are all but confirmed as new rumours emerge suggesting a supplier has already penned a deal with Apple for the second gen tablet.
The company in question, Largan Precision, is reported to have broadened its current bond with Apple having previously supplied the front and rear snappers for the iPhone 4. It is believed that Largan Precision, which has yet to confirm or deny the speculation, has received a contract to be the sole supplier of camera lenses for the iPad 2.
Dual front and rear facing cameras are hotly tipped as one of the expected updates to land on the iPad 2 bringing the tablet device in line with Apple’s current breed of FaceTime capable devices.
Other rumoured editions to the upcoming iPad follow-up, expected to launch in May alongside RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, include a second dock connector, USB port and a Retina display.
