Keep track of your favourite upcoming movies and shows

AirPlay functionality, movie tickets and magic search added.

All-conquering movie bible IMDb has enhanced its app for iOS devices with a new Watchlist feature to allow users to keep track of their favourite upcoming projects.

The new update for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch will enable movie fans to follow a project through from the green light to where they can watch it in cinemas.

The Intenet Movie Database app will now have an enhanced movie showtimes database, featuring cinemas in your local area, and you'll now be able to buy tickets using the app too.

Added to that is the opportunity to watch trailers back on your Apple TV thanks to the new AirPlay functionality and it also boasts Magic Search to bring you results as you type.

It's a free upgrade available now, and will be coming to Android and other platforms in the near future.
