iMac junior incoming?
Word has it Apple's dashing desktops will soon receive a budget little brother.
Moulded in the style of Apple iMac Intel Core Duo, rumours suggest Apple's newest addition will feature a slimline shell and flat screen finesse in time for summer.
Offering a cheaper route to the land of Mac, the new model's Intel-powered innards should offer superb value. Although Apple watchers believe it will the pack less features than the more iconic iMac.
Insiders reckon the cheap machine will use stock parts from the Mac Mini and the Black Macbook range, meaning it is cheaper to build, and easier on your wallet.
Although no one knows its name, the new model will undoubtedly undercut the iMac, which means the machine will sit on the healthy side of £900 - a snip for your very own slice of Apple.
