A leaked document has shown that HTC plan on taking full advantage of the higher-specced Windows Phone 8 with both dual-core and quad-core phones
A leaked document has shown that HTC will indeed be producing high-end smartphones for Windows Phone 8 with a starting line up of a high-end quad-core smartphone along with a mid-range and budget option.
The leak which was picked up by The Verge reports that HTC will launch three smartphones under the condenames Rio, Accord and Zenith with the last being the behemoth of the group.
Rio is expected to be the budget option sporting only a smaller Qualcomm S4 and 512MB under the hood, further up the line is the Accord, a smartphone which appears to be modelled similarly to the HTC One S.
Boasting a dual-core processor the Accord will feature a 4.3-inch 720p screen with an impressive 1GB of RAM on board and 1080p video recording via an 8-megapixel camera. Oh and did we mention it'll reportedly come with NFC as well.
Finally there's the Zenith, the presumed replacement for the HTC Titan. Boasting a massive 4.7-inch screen this smartphone will also feature a 720p Super LCD 2 display and also the same 8MP snapper found on the Accord.
There's no official word on a release date but according to the source we can expect to start seeing these in the later half of the year.
