HTC Touch Diamond now available in white

Ice, ice, baby

HTC continues its campaign to assume absolute control of the smartphone market by sheer volume of handsets today with yet another announcement - the HTC Touch Diamond Ice White.

Quite unlike the original Touch Diamond, this handset has been bleached whiter than the pure driven snow. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact the screen is still disappointing black, we might never have spotted it against the white backdrop of the press release. Okay, small exaggeration there.

The fact that screen is black really means a goodly proportion of it is very much the same colour as ever. In fairness though, the distinctive angled rear does look very slick in white, almost like you're holding a chunk of iceberg to your face.

It of course sports all the same features as the black Touch Diamond, including the TouchFLO HD interface for the 2.8" touchscreen, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.0 and GPS.

The Ice White version is available now, prices depending on contract.
