The HTC Sensation XE release date has been revealed online alongside the Android handset's price

Following the handset’s official unveiling earlier today a HTC Sensation XE release date and HTC Sensation XE pricing information has been revealed online.

The first HTC handset to sport Beats Audio technology the HTC Sensation XE is set to build on the solid foundation set by the company’s current flagship device pairing the newly improved audio credentials with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor to replace the former 1.2GHz dual-core offering.

Whilst the official HTC announcement suggested the HTC Sensation XE release date would take place later this month online smartphone retailer Clove has claimed stocks of the Beats packing device are expected to start shipping on October 7th with pre-orders opening today.

Having upped aspects of the Sensation’s specs the XE will touch down with the same 8-megapixel camera and 768MB of RAM as its predecessor with a price tag tipped as £492. Boxed with a pair of in-ear Beats by Dr. Dre headphones the HTC Sensation XE will automatically alter its audio levels to fully optimise the listening experience for the Beats buds.
