HTC has officially unveiled its first handset to come packed with Beats Audio technology outing a revamped version of its current flagship device in the HTC Sensation XE.
Whilst the HTC Sensation XE marks the Taiwanese company’s first use of its recently acquired stake in Beats Audio, the handset packs numerous other new bells and whistles that go deeper than its improved audio output.
HTC Sensation XE Specs
Adding extra weight behind its already hefty punch HTC has upgraded the Sensation’s original 1.2GHz dual-core processor to a Samsung Galaxy S II topping 1.5GHz dual-core offering. This is backed up by 769MB of RAM and Google’s Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread mobile operating system.
Packing the same 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen display and 8-megapixel camera as the original HTC Sensation the XE will also play host to a forward-facing VGA snapper and HTC’s Sense 3.0 user interface.
Boxed with a pair of in-ear Beats by Dr. Dre headphones the HTC Sensation XE will automatically alter its audio levels to fully optimise the listening experience for the Beats buds.

Whilst an exact HTC Sensation XE release date has yet to be announced a ‘late September’ arrival has been touted. HTC Sensation XE price and network information is also still unknown.
Speaking at the HTC Sensation XE release unveiling, Jason Mackenzie, president of global sales and marketing, HTC Corporation said "Audio is a crucial part of any consumer’s mobile experience, we are continually pushing the audio boundaries to encompass not only improved voice but music, movies and games."
