HTC has sparked speculation around the upcoming release of the repeatedly leaked HTC Pyramid having issued the formal invitations for an upcoming product announcement.
Intriguingly proclaiming “Join us to see what’s next,” the HTC invite gives little away about future devices offering a strangely warped image of what appears to be either a frozen splash of liquid metal or water. The press event is set to take place in London on April 12th.
Rumours have been rife of the imminent arrival of the HTC Pyramid of late with the mooted 1.2GHz dual-core processor touting device readying itself to take on the upcoming fleet of dual-core smartphones that includes the LG Optimus 2X and Samsung’s Galaxy S II.
Adding to the handset’s dual-core engine the Pyramid is claimed to sport 768MB of RAM, a 4.3-inch qHD display with a 960 x 540p resolution and an 8-megapixel rear-mounted snapper joined by a front-facing camera.
Whilst the Pyramid is hotly tipped as the likely candidate for the upcoming unveiling, launch dates for the recently announced HTC Flyer tablet and UK information for the US bound HTC Evo 3D are also strong possibilities.
