Quick on the heels of its official announcement at MWC, Three have announced that they will be the first mobile provider in the UK to offer HTC's first foray into the tablet market, the HTC Flyer.
According to David Kerrigan, head of mobile broadband at Three, "The HTC Flyer is a great addition to Three's growing range of tablets", adding that "our HTC smartphones have been extremely popular with customers, which is why we are very excited to offer the company's first tablet."
The HTC Flyer runs a single 1GHz processor and comes with 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 7-inch touchscreen - the same size as on the original Samsung Galaxy Tab. Uniquely among tablets, the HTC Flyer also comes with a stylus for handwritten notes and annotations.
HTC are promising an early Q2 release for the Flyer, although no specific date has yet been pinned down.
